International Neuroblastoma Awareness Week: June 11-17, 2012

The 2nd Annual International Neuroblastoma Awareness Week will be taking place from June 11th - June 17th, 2012. Originally started by Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN) in the UK, the INAW has now turned into a Global Event.

Please help us support and remember the children and the families that have been touched by neuroblastoma, and those that continue their brave fight still today. While some may call it an "orphan" or "rare" disease, the truth is it effects countless families each and every day.

Are there badges or pins that can be bought or sold to support neuroblastoma awareness.

Nothing is currently being offered for Neuroblastoma Awareness Week this year. Families Against Neuroblastoma (FAN) in the UK holds the fights to the Image and Graphic Template, so we have to follow their lead in this regard.

If you visit www.cafepress.com and enter neuroblastoma into the Search, they do have shirts, bumper stickers, buttons, and various other items you can purchase online. Hope this helps.

‎(USA WI) International Neuroblastoma Awareness week has officially ended we want to thank each and every one of you who liked, shared or commented on our page throughout the week. Your support has been amazing and together we are raising awareness for Neuroblastoma. Our last official post for the week I want to leave you with a few statistics....

Our admins created over 100 new personalized badges this year (348 total) averaging nearly 15 per day. This years event added 900 new likes from last years launch bringing us to nearly 3200 likes in approximately 3 weeks of having the site live. Currently there are 5,430 people talking or sharing this page with over 5700 active users on this page throughout the week. Thanks to our 5716 active users we generated enough posts, shares, and content to reach 143,637 people throughout the week! Pretty amazing statistics for a site that is only active approximately 2 weeks per year! With the week officially ending you wont see nearly as many posts or active users on the page but we will leave the page live for about one week to gather any feedback or recommendations for next year. After this coming week the page will be unpublished and deactivated until next year. We hope you continue to raise awareness throughout the rest of the year and if you would like to continue to follow our admins individual organizations feel free to visit them from the about section or message the page to get more information.
